Thank you to United Way
The Villages is grateful for the continued support of United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI). We recently received two grants from UWCI totaling more than $240,000 to support our programs and services:
- A $200,000 grant from The Family Opportunity Fund will enable The Villages to strengthen our Healthy Families Indiana program by enhancing each parent’s educational and employment growth, assuring stronger stability in the home. The $6 million Family Opportunity Fund is one of three initiatives designed to reduce generational poverty in Central Indiana.
- A $47,300 COVID- 19 Facilities Modification Fund Grant will create a safer and healthier environment for the youth, families and staff who are part of the vital programs at both The Villages Child and Family Service Center at 38thand Meridian Streets and our Children’s Village Early Childhood Development Center.
