We are lucky to have partners like you

Sharon Pierce is the former president and CEO of The Villages.

Greetings, Friend of Children!

It’s hard to believe that it is already March, the month that celebrates Good Luck and St. Patrick’s Day.  The Villages is BEYOND LUCKY to have you as a partner supporting our life-changing mission to “CHAMPION FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN!”  Your support is invaluable creating endless opportunities for the 3,100 children and youth, we’re so privileged to serve, DAILY, to reach their FULL POTENTIAL.

The Villages is deeply grateful to our partner OLD NATIONAL BANK for designating us as the beneficiary of last Saturday’s 100 MEN WHO COOK. Thanks to hundreds of generous donors and partners, we were able to achieve our goal of raising over $175,000! These funds will help 12-year-old MARIO, a foster youth, attend summer camp for the first time, ever; enable REGINA to participate in a spring break STEM workshop; provide JAMES, an older foster youth preparing to graduate from high school, the funds needed to purchase a new bicycle to get to his nearby job; and support MISS DELORES in raising her three young grandchildren while their mother gets the help she needs to recover from her addiction.

In April, EVERYONE can join us to celebrate Child Abuse Prevention Month on April 25 at the Matt Breman Memorial Run 4 Kids. It’s a family- and pet-friendly walk and run along the Downtown Canal in Indianapolis to support Prevent Child Abuse Indiana’s vital child abuse prevention and education efforts. It’s always a GREAT morning filled with fun, games for the children, and a celebration of child well-being!

I read recently that,

“It’s not joy that makes us grateful; It’s gratitude that makes us joyful!”

ALL of us at The Villages are overcome with both JOY and GRATITUDE … Thanks to YOU!

Our Deepest Thanks,
