It’s a Bright, Joyous New Year at The Villages

Dear Friend of Children,
It is thanks to EACH of our nearly 500 generous donors, mission-driven community partners and transformational foundations that 2019 is full of HOPE and PROMISE for the over 11,000 children and families The Villages will be honored to serve this year.
The infants and toddlers whose lives we touch through Healthy Families, Children’s Village child care centers and therapeutic foster care are cherishing new, colorful interactive toys, books, and cuddly stuffed animals to stimulate their brain development! School-age children are more confident in their new clothes, colorful backpacks, and books that introduce them to a bigger, brighter world! Resilient older youth who are transitioning from foster care to adulthood are thrilled with the gift cards you so generously gave to: help make their small apartments a “home;” put gas in and tires on their cars, pay car insurance; and purchase uniforms and/or clothes for exciting new jobs!
Your GENEROSITY is erasing the DISPARITY and INEQUITY that often impacts the lives and futures of children and youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, hardship and trauma in their early years. January, the birth month of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is the perfect opportunity to celebrate “closing the gap” and creating BRIGHTER FUTURES for the children, youth and families The Villages is so honored to serve! We salute and thank each of you for helping us, through YOUR heart for children and philanthropy, provide a wonderful foundation for these future leaders of our communities and state to reach their full potential. We couldn’t do it without you!
Gratefully,
