Tours of these local natural geological wonders will fascinate visitors of all ages. The attraction includes the Crystal Palace and the Dripstone Trail; visitors may tour the caves separately, or together through purchase of combo admissions.

Evansville Museum of Art, History, and Science
Parents can reserve a guided tour of the Museum to experience art, history, science and anthropology in a unique way. Trained staff conduct tours, including special offerings for young visitors, like the preschool tour for ages 3-4, the "Tell Me a Story" session geared at third and fourth graders, and other programs catered to every age group.

Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville
This vibrant new child-centered museum in downtown Evansville is scheduled to open this fall. Formerly the Hands On Discovery Children's Museum, the museum will encourage children to develop and embrace lifelong habits of creative expression, critical thinking, innovative problem-solving and solid decision-making in a stimulating and entertaining environment.

WonderLab
WonderLab is an informal setting where your child can use hands-on activities to learn about science. Located in downtown Bloomington, WonderLab is convenient to Indiana University, the Convention Center, and other local attractions.
Hours: Tuesday-Saturday: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Closed Mondays and some major holidays.
Admission: Members free, children $5.50, Adults $6.50.

Talking Shoes at the Mathers Museum of World Cultures

Shoes from around the world are featured in Talking Shoes. The exhibit, geared for young children, explores how shoes can reveal much about their makers and wearers. Native American beaded moccasins, sandals from the Republic of Congo, felt shoes from Tibet, and wooden shoes from the Netherlands and Surinam are just a few highlighted artifacts in the exhibit, which features some hands-on activities for younger visitors. The Exhibit Hall and Museum Store are open Tuesdays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Admission to the Museum is free.

Indianapolis

Indiana State Museum
Help your kids learn about Indiana and its place in the world. Located in White River State Park in the heart of Indianapolis, the Indiana State Museum houses three floors of Core Galleries telling the story of Indiana as well as fascinating changing exhibits, the museum explores art, science and culture. The Museum is also the home to Indianapolis' only IMAX theatre.

The Eiteljorg Museum is one of only two museums east of the Mississippi with both Native American and Western art. Located in downtown Indianapolis, the museum y includes works from the Taos, New Mexico Artists' Colony, as well as pieces from such legends as Remington and Russell. Contemporary artists who tell the story of today's West are also represented and the Native American collection includes pottery, basketry, sculpture and other artifacts from all 10 North American native cultural areas.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis - Target Family Nights
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is the largest children's museum in the world. The more than 400,000-square-foot facility houses 11 major galleries that explore the physical and natural sciences, history, world cultures and the arts.

The museum is open free to families the first Thursday of each month from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Lafayette - Feast of the Hunter's Moon

The Feast of the Hunters' Moon is a re-creation of the annual fall gathering of the French and Native Americans which took place Fort Ouiatenon, a fur-trading outpost in the mid-1700s. It is held annually in early autumn on the banks of the Wabash River, four miles southwest of West Lafayette. Children's activities are planned, including music and wigwam making.

Admission:
Children 4-16 - $5 advance, $6 at the gate.
Adults - $10 advance, $12 at the gate.
Family Pass (2 adults and up to 4 children) - $25 advance, $30 at the gate.
