News from The Villages

  • The Villages' Sponsors Hit a Homerun.
Family fun, a stellar "first pitch," children cheering, hotdogs, nachos, cotton candy and a sky filled with stars – all were signs of a GREAT EVENING! On Thursday, July 24, more than 750 of The Villages' children, families, friends and supporters enjoyed a summer evening of baseball and a great view of downtown Indianapolis! The evening kicked off with children's games, family activities and dinner at Victory Field, followed by our Indianapolis Indians' victory over the Charlotte Knights!

Thanks to our sponsors, BKD, LLP; Brightpoint, Inc.; The Care Group, LLC; Aqua Systems; Jones Mortgage Group; Tom and Beth Ann Smith; and other generous businesses, board members and friends of The Villages, we sold more tickets than ever before, giving our Villages' families a treasured summer memory again this year! In addition, we raised over $8,000 to fund additional enrichment activities for The Villages' amazing, resilient children!

A very special thank you goes to each and every one of you who worked so hard to make this "All-American" event happen!
